Objectives
Scale the tower of Southwind Hamlet and locate a means to stir the silithid hive into activeness. Bring back anything unusual yous may uncover when doing so to Layo Starstrike at the Valor's Residue graveyard of Silithus.
- [Encrusted Silithid Object]
Details
- There are 2 spirits (as in the previous quest) in the base of operations of the belfry. You lot should pull them out to the belfry steps and defeat them.
- Alarm: Every bit shortly every bit you set pes in the belfry, three Hive'Ashi Drones will spawn. If you run off, they will render to the tower, but will not despawn. You must defeat these to gain access to the tower. The best strategy if you can't defeat all iii is to kill one, run, return and kill the other two. Once you lot defeat all 3, you have gratuitous access to the belfry for a short time.
- You are looking for an object (chest-like matter) to open at the top of the belfry. When you open up the object, it will spawn two level 57 Hive'Ashi Ambushers. The detail you are looking for (Encrusted Silithid Object) tin be looted off 1 of these bugs. The bugs volition continuously respawn.
- Alarm: You'll go a "quest item" from the object at the top of the tower. This is Not the ane you need for the turn-in. Instead, the item yous want comes from 1 of the baby-sit bugs that spawns. It is actually tempting to grab the commencement quest object and so jump for information technology—only to notice that that isn't the one you needed.
Description
The hive needs to exist addressed in Southwind Hamlet, and I think I know a way to get at them. Information technology's been my experience that the silithid hives are very sensitive to their environs; this explains their attacks when hearing the death wails of the spirits.
The silithid are strongest in the belfry - the one with the mass of wasps circling it. Scale the tower and jostle the hive into activity. Study back what y'all learn, but be conscientious! If y'all uncover anything that might help, bring it to me.
